How this document works
Section titled “How this document works”- Every slice links to canonical local docs in the source teams. Each team owns its own architecture.
- Cross-slice links surface when a flow leaves one slice and lands in another (e.g. CI/CD’s daily-sync writes drift PRs into the TechSys websites slice).
- Per-team summary cards live in Catalog — one file per repo, ~80 lines, summary + connections + canonical-doc links.
- Cross-team interfaces live in Interfaces. Bilateral by default; this team blesses on escalation.
- Operating principle: centralization vs decentralization balance. Decentralized by default; centralization must justify itself.
Status
Section titled “Status”Phase 1 — assembly, bottom-up — is substantively complete:
- 26 of 26 in-scope repos cataloged.
- ~70+ cross-team interfaces observed.
- 8 of 8 slices live: Penetrator WP · Sight · Sight Labs · Billing · CI/CD · Design system · TechSys websites · Group website.
- Discipline pages present — descriptive, sourced from observed practice. Prescriptive standards deferred to phase 3.
Phase 2 (synthesis) and phase 3 (standards) are the next horizons. Per the governance principle, prescription waits until reality is mapped.
